With the new millennium began in the zoological garden Wolgast opened
a new chapter.
The zoo of the future becomes reality.
For many small and large activities
creates a unique park of its responsibilities towards the natural environment
in your overall awareness.
They should be the flora and fauna at close quarters, and with all senses.
Experience our newly built and renovated entrance pond. Relax and enjoy
nature. Visit our new large playground, the new outdoor noses of coatis
and the otter excellent dwarf plant
We look forward to your visit!
Your animalpark team
We invite you for a walk in our zoo in the north-east
of Germany. It's an area of 10 hectare in close touch with nature created
form an natural forest in the 1960s. Our zoo is hosting more than 400
animals in 53 species.
We are still planning to invest more work, to make our park more and more
attractive within the next years. Our reward will be if you find enjoyment
here and you are able to collect some interesting and new impressions.
We are always interessted in getting in contact with other zoos worldwide.
For children, lots of space to play and experience. The park is extensive and has many attractions for the kids. In the midst of nature you can experience many native animals.Especially our new playground invites you to linger.
Every day including public holydays:
May - September: 9 am - 9 pm
Apri/Oktober - Dezember: 9 am - 5 pm
Januar - March: 9 am - 4 pm
